PSL 2023 Draft Pick Order
Pakistan Super League season 8 will starts on the 8th of February 2023 in different cities of Pakistan. Draft of HBL PSL 2023 will commence on the 18th of November, 2022. In that aspect, PCB announces the PSL 2o23 draft pick orders for all teams.
How was Pick Order Developed?
There are many questions about how the pick order of PSL is developed. Who decided these pick orders for franchises? Is PCB favoring any specific franchise? Why do Lahore Qalandars get the first to pick in the 2023 draft as they get in the 2022 PSL draft too?
So the answer is here. Pick order is decided by random draw. A lucky draw decides the first platinum pick. So, fortunately, Lahore Qalandars got the first to pick in the random draw.
After that first pick, no lucky draw happens. Then this sequence is entered into automated software, which will automatically make a pick order from the very first platinum order.
PSL 2023 Draft Pick Order
Here is the complete pick order of the draft, which is set to commence on the 18th of November, 2022. Defending champion Lahore Qalandars will make the first pick as they get the first pick in PSL 2023 Draft Pick Order.
Following them, the champion of 2019 Quetta Gladiators has a second pick and the 2021 season champion Multan Sultan has third in the draft. Following them, Karachi Kings has the fourth pick, and Islamabad United has the fifth pick in the draft. The sixth and last is for Peshawar Zalmi.

Every team has to make 18 picks this year. But with a maximum of 8 retentions, every team at least makes 10 picks from the HBL PSL 2023 Draft Pick Order.
