The final two teams confirmed their place in ICC T20 Men’s World Cup 2022. Netherlands And Zimbabwe Booked Their place in T20 World Cup 2022 which is going to play in Australia in October and November this year.
Both teams have qualified for the final in the Qualifying round for T20 World Cup. Netherlands beat the USA and Zimbabwe beat PNG in the semifinal in ICC Men’s T20 world cup Qualifier.
Semifinal 1:
In the first semi-final, the USA won the toss and elect to bat first, they got a dram to start Minton to the first ICC event, but after that batting line shakedown and the Netherlands wrapped up for 138 in 19.4 overs.
In reply, the Netherlands fought back and their captain played a role and made it happen again, the second appearance in ICC T20 Men’s World Cup for the second time.
Semifinal 2:
In the second semifinal of the Qualifier, Zimbabwe won the toss and elected the bat first. everything seems to be floating very well for Zimbabwe and closed the inning for 199/5 in 20 overs the inning.
In reply to 200 targets, PNG didn’t get a good start as it fell wicket in the very first over. With the required rate going up rapidly, PNG fight well but fell short of 27 runs and lost the opportunity to appear in the ICC tournament.
