The 15th edition of the Asia Cup will start on 27 August 2022. After two years, the Asian cricket council finally announced the Asia cup 2022 Schedule. Asia Cup will be played from 27 August to 11 September 2022.
There are two tournament rounds: one Qualifying round and another the main round. Srilanka will host Asia Cup 2022, but with the current situation of Srilanka, ACC may shift Asia Cup to another country.

Asian Cricket council announces the match dates, but the final and full schedule is yet to release. According to this Asia cup schedule for 2022, Pakistan and India will face each other on 28 August 2022 in the tournament’s second match.

The top two teams will qualify for the Super four round. The first match of the Super four round will be played from 4 September until 9 September 2022.

Asia Cup 2022 Teams
As per the news, six Asian cricket teams in the Asia cup 2022, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Afghanistan, and Srilanka, are already qualified. One team from Kuwait, Uae, Singapore, and Hong Kong will be eligible for the Asia cup and joins other groups.
Five teams have already directly qualified for Asia Cup 2022, and one team will qualify for the super six rounds from the qualifying round.

Format Of Asia Cup 2022
Stage 1.
There are three stages for Asia cup 2022; the first qualifying round will be played. One team from there qualifies for main round two of Asia cup 2022.
Stage 2.
Six teams will compete for the title and are divided into two groups. Each team plays two matches, and the top two teams qualify for the next round.
Stage 3.
Here top four teams remain and compete for the title. Every team will play three matches, and the top two teams will qualify for the grand finale.
Finale.
The top two teams from stage three play the final of Asia cup 2022 on 11 September 2022. The winner will get the title of Asia cup 2022.
History Of Asia Cup
The last time the Asia Cup was played was in 2018, and India was the champion. India has been dominating side in the Asia cup until now. Pakistan won only one title, and India won all others.
