Lahore High Court Dismissed GEO News Petition against the broadcast rights distribution. Geo Tv claim that PCB has distribute and award rights in fairly to PTV Sports and A Sports.
Geo Tv also claim in that petition that, A tv and PTV Sports bid less then the Geo super for rights, even PCB award rights to these channels in low bid then Geo Super.
After hearing today, Lahore High Court Dismissed the petition of Geo tv that there is no illegal or unfair disturbion of broadcast rights.
Also the lawyer of PCB State that delay of this decision will effect the world’s known cricket league PSL. Everyone is eyeing on this league right now. So court has to decide and dismissed petition, to not to interrupt this Pakistani league.
At the end high court dismissed the petition of Geo tv and give statement that broadcast rights are daily awarded to high biding sports channels.
