Prize Money For The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Revealed
The ICC announced the Prize Money For The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 that the champion will take $US 1.6 million home. ICC announced that the winner in Melbourne on the 13th of November would get 1.6 million dollars, and the runner-up would get half of this.
A tournament will run for nearly one month, and the teams will reach the semifinalists and get $400,000 from the total prize money pool.
Eight teams in the super eight round and can’t qualify for the semifinals will get $70,000 each, the same as the previous season, 2021.
A win in 30 games in the super 12 round is well worth $40,000. Eight teams made directly to the super 12 round are Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa.
Other teams in Namibia, Srilanka, Netherlands, UAE, West Indies, Scotland, Ireland and Zimbabwe are split into two groups and will play in the tournament’s first round.
Any win in the group stage will get $40,000 per match from the $480,000 prize pool of Prize Money For The ICC T20 World Cup 2022.
