According to a source, Pakistan Cricket Board plans to host a Tri Nsation series if Asia Cup 2023 is postponed. , PCB is working on plan B in case Asia Cup is not played in Pakistan.
In this scenario, PCB contacts different boards and talks about Tri Series. South Africa, West Indies, and Zimbabwe will likely be available in the Asia Cup 2023 window.
South Africa will be free from 17th September onwards, and Wetindies are free in September. So possibly, South Africa and West Indies will be two teams to participate in the Tri-Nation series before the world cup.
Also, if Srilanka qualifies for WorldCup 2023, the test series between Pakistan and Srilanka will be postponed, and 5 match ODI Series will be played.
