Pakistan Super League 2023 will start on 13th of February 2022. It will be the eighth season of HBL PSL 8. Pakistan Super League is a brand of (PCB) the Pakistan Cricket Board. Six franchises compete in the tournament for the title.

No auction model for 2023’s edition of the Pakistan Super League. The draft of PSL 8 will be carried on the same pattern it has been for the last seven years. These six franchises will compete in HBL PSL, which PCB owns. These teams represent the names of major cities in Pakistan.

HBL PSL Auction 2023 Model

Pakistan Cricket Board suggested the PSL auction 2023 model for franchises for season 8 of HBL PSL 2023. The idea is to attract top-ranked players from all over the world with the PSL 2023 auction. Here is the suggested idea as follows

1. Retain a Maximum 4 Player
2. Four overseas players should auction
3. Twelve players selected from drafts
4. 1 Million Salary Cap
5. Three local and one overseas should retain
6. The budget for the Auction would be $600k (only for world-class cricketers)

Thus, the HBL PSL 8 Auction model is suggested to all franchises for the coming season, PSL auction 2023 season 8. But franchises will review it and confirm it in a meeting with PCB.
